ALFB meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of the month with the exception of September, November and December holidays. Meetings start with a social at 9:30 a.m. with the business meeting beginning at 10:00 a.m., upstairs at Morton Street Gallery, 214 Morton St, Richmond, TX.
Membership benefits include free demonstrations, low cost workshops, newsletters, several shows and sales throughout the year. This club is a member of the Lone Star Art Guild whose membership is made up of participating Art Leagues within a 200 mile radius of Houston, with shows and competitions offered to its members. Anyone interested in art is welcome to join regardless of their level of skill or training.
The Art League of Fort Bend was founded in 1957 by 10 free thinking persons of good character interested in the representational arts and engaged in creative activities in their chosen field. Our dream for the future is a community place for all artists to create, study, and exhibit the talents of Fort Bend artists. We look forward to the future, drawing on the talents of our community.
