Where's Artie?

Artie is our mascot at the Art Center, a stuffed cat named after a real cat who lived here in the Gallery for a while. He moves all over the Gallery! Kids love looking for Artie (big kids too). Can you find Artie?

Tour the Gallery Online

Open Art Days

Tuesday and Fridays (as class space allows) from 10 am to 5 pm. All members are welcome to bring your supplies in any medium and enjoy the company of your fellow artists while creating new work in the classroom. You may come before 10 and stay later than 5 but you must know the access code to get in or lock up.

Live Model Sessions

About the Fort Bend Art Center

The Fort Bend Art Center is a multi-arts center managed by members of the Art League of Fort Bend. Fine artwork by over 30 member artists is on display and for sale in both the Mayde W. Butler Art Gallery and the Gallery Wall.The Center is located at 2012 Avenue G in Rosenberg, Texas and functions as a shared-space for artists and art enthusiasts to create art, exhibit art work and experience art through art shows, exhibits and learning opportunities. Art studios are rented by over a dozen artists-in-residence, and visiting artists are able to provide classes by renting the instructional workshop room. About the Art League of Fort Bend

The Art League of Fort Bend is a 501(c)3 organization founded in 1957 to create a community place for all artists to create, study and exhibit their art, and to stimulate interest and appreciation of the achievements of local artists. Membership is open to the beginner, professional, and art enthusiasts. The League  encompasses all visual art mediums - painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, digital art, sculpture and studio fine crafts - bringing art to the greater Fort Bend area with outstanding exhibitions, world-class instruction and dedicated community outreach.
